An opportunity awaits for a skilled professional to support students in a dynamic educational environment. This role is focused on enhancing the communication skills of K-8th grade students under the guidance of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Yuma, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language support.
  • Conduct therapy sessions as directed, providing targeted interventions to enhance student communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation of services provided.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to further enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist Licensure.
  • IVP Fingerprint Card for working with students.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients or students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
