Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for an SLPA to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will work directly with students to help them overcome communication barriers and succeed both academically and socially.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing speech therapy to students with speech and language impairments in a school setting.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Support students in improving articulation, language processing, and fluency skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to meet students' speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with students, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy practices and ethical guidelines.

Position Details:

  • Location: Wilmot, WI
  • Hours: Part-Time, 28 hours per week
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
