Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled professionals seeking to make an impactful difference in a K-12 educational environment. This San Antonio-based school is looking to fill four positions for School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), addressing the needs of their growing student caseloads.

Location:
San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Support licensed speech-language pathologists in the implementation of treatment plans for students.
  • Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations as directed by supervising SLPs.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student learning and communication.
  • Provide direct support to students across various grade levels, from PK/Kinder to 8th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLPA license.
  • Previous experience working in school settings is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of speech and language disorders and best practices in therapy.
