Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges in a school setting.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Assist students in improving skills related to articulation, fluency, and language development.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students, staff, and families.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop strategies to support students’ communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, educators, and staff.
  • Knowledge of current speech therapy techniques, professional ethics, and industry standards.
