Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on enhancing the communication skills of approximately 12-16 students under the guidance of certified speech language pathologists.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA (Speech Language Pathologist Assistant) license
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Location:
Oakland, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed speech language pathologists in delivering therapy services to students
  • Conduct screenings and assessments as directed, documenting student progress
  • Implement treatment plans and instructional strategies outlined by supervising therapists
  • Collaborate with educators and other support staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress in compliance with school policies
