Job Description

Located in Indianapolis, IN, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the educational and communicative development of students as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Serving a diverse K-12 student population, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of elementary and middle school learners during a leave of absence contract.

Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary and middle schools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct support to students with speech and language needs
  • Monitor and document student progress under the supervision of a licensed professional
  • Collaborate with educators and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
