Job Description

A Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is needed for a K-12 school setting in Greenwood, IN. This role is crucial for providing support to students with speech and language needs during a leave of absence, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.

  • Facilitate group and one-on-one sessions to promote effective communication skills among students.

Qualifications:

  • Indiana Speech Language Pathologist License required; ASHA Certification or Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also accepted.
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and educational standards.
