Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy assistance to students with speech and language disorders in various school settings.
  • Collaborate with the supervising SLP to carry out individualized therapy plans.
  • Help students improve their skills in articulation, fluency, and language development.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with students and staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer input on strategies to meet students' speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and educators.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, standards, and ethical practices.
