Job Description

A vibrant educational environment in Converse, TX, is seeking dedicated professionals to fill four open positions for School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA). These roles are crucial in providing consistent support to students across various grade levels, from PK/Kinder to 8th grade, addressing the needs of growing caseloads.

Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLPA license
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in elementary settings

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of speech and language services under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists
  • Support students in developing communication skills through individual and group activities
  • Implement treatment plans as directed and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to facilitate effective learning strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals
