Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated SLPA to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will allow you to work closely with students, helping them overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of speech therapy services to students with speech and language needs across various school environments.
  • Work with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Assist students in developing skills in articulation, language processing, and fluency.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students and staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, offering input and helping to develop strategies to meet students' communication goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy principles, practices, and ethical standards.

Position Details:

  • Location: Commerce City, CO
  • Hours: Part-Time, 20 hours per week
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
