Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering speech therapy services to students with speech and language challenges in various school environments.
  • Work with the supervising SLP to implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Help students improve their skills in areas like articulation, language development, and fluency.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with students and staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input to support the development of students’ speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy standards, ethical practices, and professional guidelines.
