Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide direct support to a caseload of 45 to 50 students, facilitating individual and group sessions.
  • Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with established frameworks.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support system.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of best practices in speech and language education.

Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Speech Language Pathologist Assistant License.
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school-aged students preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Knowledge of speech and language development and associated disorders.

Location:
Baytown, TX

This position offers a contract for the school year, requiring 35 to 40 onsite hours per week.
