Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with expertise in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. The role is flexible, allowing for both onsite and virtual service delivery to students, facilitating their communication needs effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in K-8 students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices in teletherapy and virtual service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on pediatric populations.
  • Experience in teletherapy is preferred, with a minimum of three years.
  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License and Education Certificate.
  • IVP Fingerprint Card required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
