Job Description

This position is designed for individuals with expertise in Speech-Language Pathology, particularly within school settings. The role focuses on providing assessment, intervention, and support to students across two school locations, catering to a diverse caseload of 6th to 12th grade learners.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, ideally within schools
  • Familiarity with IEPs and collaborative teaching practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Waynesville, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ overall development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor their effectiveness
