Make a lasting difference by helping students with a range of mild to severe disabilities, including Autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome. This full-time position offers 32.5 hours per week and is available immediately through June 26, 2027.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and valid NY Speech Language Pathologist license
- Active TSSLD certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience with school-based or teletherapy SLP services
- Familiarity working with K-12 age ranges and diverse caseloads
- Compassion, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech and language therapy sessions for students across elementary to high school levels
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with teachers and support staff
- Document student progress and outcomes, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and state regulations
- Support students with communication disorders, language delays, social pragmatics, and behavioral needs
- Partner with families and educational staff to create supportive learning environments
