Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide essential support and services in a dynamic educational environment. This role focuses on serving middle school students with mild to moderate speech and language needs, facilitating their communication skills and promoting academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists

Location:

  • Warren, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
  • Deliver direct services to approximately 45 students, focusing on their specific needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
