A skilled Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant is sought for an engaging opportunity located in Trenton, NJ. This position involves supporting students and patients with diverse communication needs through tailored interventions and assessments.

Location: Trenton, NJ
Job Duration: Contract position for the school year, 35 hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through June.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
• Manage multiple caseloads, delivering quality therapy and monitoring student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress notes as required by state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license in Pennsylvania.
• Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education for SLP.
• Experience in school settings or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
