Responsibilities:

  1. Remote Assessments:
    • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
    • Utilize cutting-edge technology for accurate and engaging assessment processes.
  2. Tailored Intervention:
    • Develop and implement customized virtual intervention plans based on students' unique needs.
    • Utilize creative and interactive virtual resources to enhance speech and language development.
  3. Virtual Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
    • Engage in virtual meetings to discuss student progress and adapt intervention plans accordingly.
  4. Digital Documentation:
    • Maintain comprehensive digital records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
    • Generate detailed written reports and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
  5. Continuous Professional Growth:
    • Stay updated on the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through virtual professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Washington State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is desirable.
  • Previous experience in remote or virtual therapy settings.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with students virtually.
  • Comfortable using technology for remote service delivery.
