Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Teletherapy
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: Remainder of the 2024-2025 school year (ending May 23)

This position focuses on providing essential speech and language services to students in a virtual setting, allowing for flexibility while supporting diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy sessions to students in grades 6-12.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings to contribute to student goal-setting and progress tracking.
  • Write present levels of performance for speech in alignment with IEP objectives.
  • Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated support for each student.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with educational and clinical standards.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Nevada SLP license and teaching certificate.
  • Experience with teletherapy practices and technology is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 25-32 students while providing individualized support.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.
