An exciting opportunity awaits for dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide teletherapy services to students in a dynamic virtual setting. This position focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language support to K-12 students, helping them achieve their educational goals while fostering their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language abilities for students in grades 6-12.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual student needs, ensuring alignment with IEP goals.
  • Provide direct teletherapy services to a caseload of 25-32 students, utilizing innovative tools and strategies to engage learners.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to track student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and facilitate a cohesive learning experience.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute valuable insights regarding each student's speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Nevada Speech-Language Pathologist license and teaching certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a virtual environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with students and families.
  • Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in speech therapy.
