Job Description:

Sunbelt/Vocovision is looking for a compassionate and experienced Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work remotely with students in Illinois. This role offers both part-time and full-time positions, providing flexibility to fit your schedule. As a Virtual SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to support students in their speech and language development, all from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade in Illinois.
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions using a secure online platform.
• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective student support.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to setting student goals.

Requirements:

• A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Illinois State License and Certification as an SLP.
• Experience working with children and school-aged students.
• Strong communication skills and comfort with virtual platforms.
• Proficient with technology for online therapy sessions and record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with virtual therapy is a plus.
• ASHA certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with IEP development and case management.
