Position Overview:

Sunbelt/Vocovision is seeking a dedicated and skilled Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely with students in Illinois while making a meaningful impact on their communication and speech development. The position offers both part-time and full-time hours, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual speech and language services to students K-12 within the state of Illinois.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions through a secure online platform.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Illinois State License and Certification to practice as an SLP.
• Experience working with children and/or school-aged populations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students virtually.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to use online platforms for therapy and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience providing virtual therapy is a plus.
• ASHA certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with IEP development and case management.
