Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time, 1099 Contract

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in Illinois looking for a flexible remote opportunity? We are currently hiring a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services to K-12 students across Illinois. This role is perfect for an SLP who wants to work from home and make a meaningful difference in the communication skills and academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Assessments: Perform virtual speech and language evaluations to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide Therapy: Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students in an online setting, addressing a variety of communication challenges.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a supportive and comprehensive approach to student development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to meet individual goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all services align with Illinois state regulations and federal guidelines for special education.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Valid Illinois SLP license (required).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in schools or with children in a clinical setting.
  • ASHA Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Tech Skills: Comfortable with virtual platforms and able to use technology effectively in therapy sessions.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
