Job Description

A professional opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting. This role involves providing essential communication support to students from kindergarten through fifth grade, focusing on their diverse speech and language needs.

Location:
Surprise, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a varied student caseload.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to diagnose speech, voice, and language impairments.
  • Interpret assessment results to develop necessary interventions.
  • Validate and integrate outside evaluations and recommendations into student plans.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Create individualized therapy programs tailored to meet each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support the implementation of therapy.
  • Provide guidance and support to families regarding speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate and ongoing records for individual students.

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Health SLP License.
  • Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience in a school setting, particularly with K-5 students.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.
