Job Description

Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated professional with expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology. This full-time position is based in South Bend, IN, and involves providing assessment and therapeutic services to students beginning in May, covering a short-term maternity leave assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid MI Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC-SLP certification
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and other healthcare professionals

Location:

  • South Bend, IN (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, utilizing appropriate techniques.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ overall development.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
