Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid New York SLP license
  • Current TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Successful experience in K-12 schools, particularly with special education populations
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across grade levels
  • Develop and execute individual therapy plans tailored to each students needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services, both onsite and, as necessary, via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special educators, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing recommendations and supporting educational goals
