Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a supportive K-12 educational environment. This role focuses on providing comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students, ensuring that each child receives the necessary support to enhance their communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Location:
Simpsonville, SC

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet individual student needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation required by the school
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' learning and communication
  • Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings to discuss students' progress and needs
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 45 elementary students, providing both group and individual therapy
