Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional to provide essential speech-language pathology services in an engaging elementary school setting in Saratoga, CA. This contract position is set for the upcoming extended school year, focusing on supporting students with diverse communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-5 students
  • Strong case management skills, with the ability to develop and implement IEPs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Saratoga, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students’ speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to a caseload of 30 students, with 13 requiring case management
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
