Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist ready to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Saratoga, CA, serving a diverse K-5 student population with varying speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students.
  • Strong assessment and case management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, parents, and students.

Location:
Saratoga, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload.
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to approximately 30 students, focusing on various disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student learning and communication goals.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
