Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to support students in an engaging elementary school environment in San Jose, CA. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on providing specialized services to K-5 students with various speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • California SLP License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary students
  • Strong case management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location:
San Jose, California

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students’ speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 30 students, with 13 focused on case management
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
