Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional specializing in pediatric speech-language pathology within an elementary school setting. This position is focused on supporting students from grades K-5 with a diverse range of speech and language needs.

Location: Riverside, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with mild to severe speech and language disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Conduct group and one-on-one therapy sessions to promote students' communication skills.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Experience working with preschool and elementary-aged students.
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
