Job Description

An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic middle school setting in Richmond, VA. This role is essential for replacing a preterm position and covering a maternity leave, requiring a dedicated professional to start ASAP and continue through the end of the semester.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in school settings
  • Familiarity with teletherapy practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an itinerant role
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • VA SLP License required

Location: Richmond, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language services
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement
