Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License; Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and staff.
  • Familiarity with various speech disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

Location: Providence, RI

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' speech and language needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
  • Provide direct therapy to students on your caseload, maintaining accurate records of progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy.
