Job Description

This part-time position, based in Phoenix, AZ, focuses on addressing the communication needs of students in grades 4-12 impacted by Autism.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • IVP fingerprint card
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of current best practices in speech therapy

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to students IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services in a one-on-one or small group setting
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
