Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive support to elementary students within an Autism program. This onsite position focuses on delivering high-quality communication services as part of maternity leave coverage, extending from the end of April through October.

Qualifications:

  • Current Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) certification
  • Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders, tailoring services to meet individual needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ overall development
  • Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring measurable goals and outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans
  • Provide guidance and support to school staff regarding speech and language development
