An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists in New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document students’ speech and language needs, focusing on articulation and expressive/receptive skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings to discuss student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
  • Utilize AAC devices to support non-verbal and limited verbal students in their communication efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and progress noted.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and teletherapy settings is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all ability levels, particularly those with significant communication needs.
  • Proficient in documenting services and developing educational plans.
