Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Connecticut Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students

Location:

  • New Haven, CT

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students requiring speech and language support
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Deliver services across two school sites, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each student's needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
  • Adapt therapy techniques to engage elementary school students effectively
