Job Description

Location: New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to an elementary school caseload.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist License; Clinical Fellowship candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • CCC-SLP certification preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective therapy plans.
