An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide essential services in a supportive K-12 educational environment located in Metairie, LA. Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech therapy services to students, tailored to their individual needs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and develop appropriate IEP goals.
• Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, ensuring a holistic approach to each students progress.
• Utilize AAC devices as part of therapy sessions and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in their implementation.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to support continued development.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Louisiana Speech-Language Pathologist License (SLP-CCC or CFY).
• Experience with AAC devices and a proven track record of supervising SLPA.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff.
