Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled professionals in a K-12 school setting located in Marietta, GA. This full-time contract position for the 2025-2026 school year seeks dedicated SLPs to support students' communication needs through direct therapy and assessment services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia SLP license
  • Georgia Teaching certificate
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Proficient in providing assessments and evaluations
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Ability to participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students individualized education plans
  • Experience with various caseloads

Location:

  • Marietta, Georgia (Proximity to Decatur)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students on-site
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual students
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report writing for student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals during IEP participation
  • Manage varied caseloads effectively
  • Engage in continuous professional development through available mentorship and support
