Job Description

A dynamic educational environment is seeking skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support students across various grade levels. This position offers the opportunity to work within a K-12 setting, focusing on the unique needs of approximately 50 students.

Location: Longview, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to workload analysis for equitable distribution of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Washington State SLP license and ESA certification.
  • Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
  • Familiarity with IEP systems, preferably IEPonline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.

This position is contract-based for the upcoming school year, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. There are openings available in both elementary and secondary schools, allowing for a diverse and fulfilling work experience.
