Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an elementary school setting in Livermore, CA. This contract position is focused on supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade, with a manageable caseload averaging no more than 55 students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • ASHA certification is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-5 students, is a plus
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Livermore, California

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language needs
  • Provide both direct services and consultations as required
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to implement IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
