Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnoses for students requiring speech and language services.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation for IEPs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in accordance with state regulations and school policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
