Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school environment in Indianapolis, IN. This position focuses on providing exceptional support to students with speech and language needs during a leave of absence contract, requiring a dedicated professional to help facilitate their learning and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Indiana Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Location:
Indianapolis, IN

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech and language abilities to identify needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Provide direct therapy to students with communication disorders, focusing on elementary and middle school caseloads
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of goals and objectives for students
