An opportunity has arisen for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to take on an itinerant role in a supportive educational environment in Henrico, VA. This position is designed to provide comprehensive services to middle school students and will extend for the full semester, offering a unique chance to make a significant impact on student outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
• Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Virginia SLP License required
• New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support for students
• Maintain documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
• Offer therapy in both in-person and potentially through teletherapy services
