This contract position involves working across two school locations, focusing on students from 6th to 12th grade. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, aligning with their IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student cases and strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and needs.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
  • Active North Carolina SLP License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
