Job Description

An opportunity awaits for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in a K-12 school setting. This contract position is based in Greenville, SC, where you will support a diverse elementary student population with a caseload of 45 students. Your expertise will be essential in fostering communication skills and addressing the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • ASHA Certification; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location: Greenville, SC

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and educational strategies
