Job Description

An excellent opportunity is available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a significant impact in an educational setting. This role is based in Grants Pass, OR, within an engaging elementary school environment, focused on serving the needs of young students aged 3-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide direct therapy to a caseload of approximately 60-65 students, fostering their communication skills.
  • Collaborate with educational staff and parents to implement IEP goals and support students’ overall development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required by the school.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate care.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a valid SLP license.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs.
