Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Arizona SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Strong background working with high school students, grades 9-12

Location:

  • Glendale, AZ

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for a caseload of 40-50 students.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure effective communication strategies are in place.
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA, facilitating their professional development and ensuring cohesive service delivery.
  • Engage in regular progress monitoring and adjust therapy techniques to meet students evolving needs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapeutic outcomes.
