Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist looking to make a positive impact in an elementary school setting. This position is located in Fremont, CA, and will involve working closely with students to support their diverse communication needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-5 students
  • Strong ability to manage various disabilities and tailor interventions accordingly
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 30 students, with a focus on case management for 13
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective intervention strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and documentation as required by the school
